# Overview

> The workspace home page — what your community is doing, and whatever the team needs seen.

The overview is the first page anybody lands on. It answers "what is happening
here" without anybody going looking for it.

## The banner

A workspace shows your Roblox group's icon and name by default. You can replace
the banner from **Settings → General**, and revert it at any time — reverting
re-reads the group rather than restoring an old copy, so it always matches what
Roblox says today.

## Announcements

A notice pinned above the numbers, because whatever your team has to say
outranks a chart.

| Tone     | Changes how it reads, so an outage and a party differ at a glance |

## The numbers

Underneath, the overview charts the last 30 days.

| Discord members             | The bot, one reading per day                |
| Messages and active members | The bot, counting without reading anything  |
| Joins and leaves            | The bot, day by day                         |
| Roblox group size           | Your group directly, refreshed periodically |

The bot reports roughly every minute. A quiet day shows as zero rather than a
gap — a hole in a chart reads as lost data, and nothing was lost.

<Tip>
  A brand-new workspace can look empty for a few minutes while the bot notices
  the newly connected server. It fills in on its own.

## Birthdays and new arrivals

Members can save a birthday on their Cove account. The overview shows whose it
is today so your team can say something, and the bot can post a wish in
Discord. People who joined the workspace recently are listed too, so a growing
group doesn't quietly fill with names nobody recognises.
