# Permissions

> A key can only do what it was given.

A key can only do what it was given. A workspace key can't be given more than the person making it can do.

| Area | Permission | What it covers | Key type |

| Workspace | `workspace:read` | The workspace's details and departments. | Workspace |
| Members | `members:read` | Who's in the workspace, their role and departments. | Workspace |
| Verification | `verification:read` | Look up a member's Discord from their Roblox account, and back. | Workspace |
| Activity | `activity:read` | Time in game, sessions and the leaderboard. | Workspace |
| Ranking | `ranking:write` | Promote, demote and set ranks through the management account. | Workspace |
| Audit log | `audit:read` | Everything that's been changed in the workspace. | Workspace |
| Licensing | `licensing:read` | Check who owns your products, and verify license keys. | Store |

> Using a store key on a workspace endpoint, or the other way round, returns a `wrong_key_kind` error.
